Indian Madras Beef Curry

Serves 4-6  – Medium

Shopping List:

1 Kg Chuck Steak (trimmed & cut into cubes)

2-3 Tablespoons White Vinegar

1 Tablespoon Oil

1 Medium Onion (chopped)

¼ Cup Tomato Paste

1 Cup Beef Stock

Method:

□    Combine Spice Blend with Vinegar

□    Heat Oil in Pan – Add Onion & Cook Gently until Soft

□    Add Spice Blend & Vinegar Mixture – Cook for 1 Minute

□    Add Meat Stir Well

□    Add Tomato Paste & Beef Stock

□    Simmer Covered for 1 ½ Hours – Or until Tender

Slow Cooker Option: Combine, Spices, Vinegar, Tomato, Paste &

Beef Stock, mix well. Put Beef & Chopped Onion in pot, pour over

Combined ingredients, and mix well. Cook on Low for 6-8 hours

Suggestions:  Serve with Rice, Pappadoms, Chutney & Yoghurt
