(Serves 4-6 –Medium)
1 Kg Lamb, beef or vegetables (cubed)
1 Tablespoon Oil
1 Medium Onion (chopped)
1/2 Cup Yoghurt
410 Gram Can Chopped Tomatoes
1/4 Cup Slivered Almonds (toasted)
Coriander Leaves (chopped) – to garnish – Optional
? Heat Oil in Pan –Cook Onion till Soft
? Add Spice Blend – Cook for 30 Seconds
? Add Yoghurt & Tomatoes – Stir Well – Simmer 5 Minutes
? Add Lamb – Stir Well
? Cook Over Low Heat for 1 1/2 Hours – Until meat is Tender – Stir Occasionally
? Uncover – Simmer Until Sauce Thickens
Slow Cooker Option: Combine Spices, Yoghurt, & Tomatoes, mix well.
Put lamb and onion into cooker, pour over combined ingredients.
Cook on low for 6-8 hours.
Suggestions: Serve with Steamed Rice – Sprinkle Toasted Almonds & Coriander over Top
